The TI84 TEACHER WORKSHOP offered on the University of Oklahoma campus will provide teachers the opportunity to learn not only the basics of the TI84 calculator but the many broad applications for its use as well.
Teaching using a calculator can sometimes be difficult. Due to the priority of course content and focus on particular aspects of the calculator, many features can remain undiscovered or unused. In this one-day course, teachers will learn the latest information on handheld technology for mathematics and science.
TI84 calculators have been loaned for this workshop and will be available for use on the day of the workshop. CEU’s (.6) will be offered for those in attendance and lunch will be provided.
Instruction
The workshop will be led by Dr. Richard Neal.
Dr. Neal is the recipient of numerous campuswide
teaching awards while using the Texas
Instruments calculator in his math classes.
