Precollegiate
Programs reaches 2,000 youth each
year with its array of academic enrichment
and leadership programs. The
value of Precollegiate
Programs activities has been clearly demonstrated
in a survey that found 15 percent
of the University's freshman class attended
a precollegiate activity on campus that influenced
their decision to attend the University
of Oklahoma.
Among the academic programs are:

ACT Assessment - to help ensure each student’s performance on the ACT test is an accurate measure of his or her acquired knowledge and skills in the content areas

PSAT Review - Preparation for National Merit Scholarship and SAT Exams

Model
United Nations of the Southwest (MUNSW) - provides high school and college students with the opportunity to experience the workings of the United Nations and to actively gain first hand knowledge of international politics

JH/MS Model United Nations of the Southwest - one day conference offers junior high and middle school students a preview of the four day MUNSW conference held in February

Horizons
Unlimited - a one-week intensive program for academically gifted and talented youth who enter grades 6-8 in the fall
